Hello, my name is Monica Allen and I am the Medical Receptionist Specialist for the Camas Center Clinic. I grew up in the Chewelah valley and graduated from Chewelah High school. After graduation I went directly into taking the Nursing Assistant Certified course. After receiving my Nursing Aide Certificate I was hired on right away by St Joseph’s Hospital for 2 years. During this time, I was also working part time for Buena Vista Nursing Home. I completed 2 years of college classes through SFCC. After I had my 3 children, I chose to be a stay-at-home mom as we lived in Post Falls. My husband was completing his Apprentice lineman schooling during this time as well. In 2003 we moved back to the Pacific Northwest (Usk) to raise our children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I followed my children through school being employed as a ParaEducator at the Cusick School District for 14 years. Recently, I pursued my lifelong passion of the medical field and am working with knowledgeable staff within my community.  I am compassionate about caring for people and want to make sure all their needs are met, and typically put my own needs last. To me, the medical field is an emotionally rewarding job, and at the end of the day I am honored to have the opportunity to develop close relationships with all my patients.  I love this community, and I want to give back to it as much as it has given me throughout the last 20 years. In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, traveling and wine tasting!
